A major risk of this strategy is the fact that technical difficulties like load situations or the performance cannot be estimated adequately in advance. Mostly you see how well the solution is suitable for the operation only after startup. Therefore, we scheduled a rollback for the case that unpredictable or irreparable error situations occur.
Preparation in Workshops
We prepared the software rollout for the central and the branch offices in numerous workshops. Thematic focuses were: installation, configuration, customizing, software distribution, data migration, SAP interface, EDI interface, inventory data entry as well as training for the end-users.
